Wireless Alarm Kits

Wireless alarm kits for intruder alarm systems, supplied as ready-grouped sets of a control panel or hub with detectors, keypads or fobs and sirens. Kits from Ajax, Pyronix Enforcer, Texecom Ricochet, Scantronic, Hikvision AX PRO and JCI PowerG let installers fit a system quickly without running cable to every device.

Choosing a wireless alarm kit

• Check the contents: kits differ in the number of PIRs, door contacts, keypads and sirens, so read each listing to confirm what is included and what you may need to add.
• Check the grade: some wireless kits can meet Grade 2 requirements, but not all do. Confirm the grade stated on each product page against the insurer's or specification's requirement.
• One radio system: wireless devices only work with their own platform, so add-on detectors, keypads and sirens must match the kit, such as Ajax Jeweller, Texecom Ricochet or PowerG.
• Signalling: many kits include or support Wi-Fi, Ethernet or 4G communication for app control and monitoring. Check which paths each kit supports.

To build a system from individual parts, see intruder alarm panels and kits, add alarm keypads and PIR and motion sensors, or browse all intruder detection equipment.

Wireless alarm kit FAQs

Can a wireless alarm kit meet Grade 2?

Some can. Grade 2 suits most homes and lower-risk businesses and several wireless platforms offer Grade 2 devices, but the grade depends on the specific kit and its components, so check each listing.

Can I expand a wireless kit later?

Usually, by adding compatible detectors from the same range, within the zone or device limit of the panel or hub.
