The Advanced MX-5020/FT is the fault-tolerant version of the MxPro 5 series Remote Control Terminal (RCT). It uses the same graphical LCD user interface and flash-based microprocessor technology as the MxPro 5 fire panels, and communicates with them over the same 2-core Ad-NeT network cable, so the fire system can be viewed and controlled from a remote location.
Sector-based Silence, Mute, Resound and Reset keys let networked panels respond selectively to its controls as programmed. For example, on a site with several buildings a user can be allowed to silence and reset fires in their own building, while fires from other buildings are displayed but cannot be reset.
