The Aico Ei650i is a standalone battery-powered optical smoke alarm with a sealed lithium battery that lasts for the full 10-year life of the alarm. Its optical chamber is best at detecting slow, smouldering fires, such as those from electrical faults or upholstered furniture, and is less likely to react to cooking fumes when fitted in a hallway next to a kitchen. Recommended locations include hallways, landings, living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms.
