The AirSense ModuLaser Minimum Display Module (9-30780) is the LED-only display module for the ModuLaser modular aspirating smoke detection (ASD) system. It groups up to 8 ModuLaser detector modules, communicating with them over RS-485, and shows alarm and fault status on its LEDs while reporting to the fire alarm panel through relay outputs or an APIC interface card.
Because it has no screen or navigation buttons, the Minimum Display Module and its detector modules are configured from a computer using AirSense Remote software, or over SenseNET from a ModuLaser Command Display Module. It is a cost-effective choice where local LED indication is all that is needed.
Key features
- Status LEDs only: a lower-cost alternative to the Standard Display Module (9-30781)
- Supports up to 8 ModuLaser detector modules (9-30783)
- Zone alarm information can be passed to the main fire panel through a common APIC address card in the display module, or through the relays in each detector module
- Docking station design lets modules be connected together as a group, and the electronics can be removed during first-fix installation
- Pipework and cable entries can be made at the top or bottom of the unit
- SenseNET and SenseNET+ RS-485 networking; USB (x2), IP and APIC connectivity
