The Apollo 55000-132APO is a class CR heat detector from the Apollo Series 65 conventional range. It uses a dual thermistor network that gives a voltage output in line with the surrounding air temperature, and it raises an alarm on a fast rise in temperature as well as at a fixed temperature. It suits areas that are dirty or smoky in normal use, where a smoke detector would give false alarms.
