The Ceasefire Launcher 4kg (code CF-000727) is a portable MAP 90 ABC powder fire extinguisher that can also work as an automatic suppression system. Used by hand, it works like a conventional stored pressure extinguisher: aim at the fire and squeeze the grip.
It is also fitted with two heat sensors and two opposing discharge nozzles. In a large fire the user can roll or throw the Launcher towards the flames and move to safety, and it activates automatically when it senses the heat. Left in place in an unoccupied room, it acts as a standalone modular suppression system and discharges on its own when the temperature rises.
