The Edwards 3-SDC1-E is a Signature device card, European (EN54) version. It plugs into an Edwards Signature driver controller to add a Signature circuit: in the Edwards EST4 life safety control platform it upgrades a single-loop 3-SSDC2-E to a dual-loop 3-SDDC2-E, and on EST3 it upgrades a 3-SSDC1-E to a 3-SDDC1-E.
Each card supports up to 125 Signature detectors and 125 Signature modules over a single pair of wires, with Class B, Class A or Class X wiring.
