The Evacuator Synergy+ Automatic Smoke Detector (FMCEVASYNP4) is a battery-powered, wire-free optical smoke detector for the Evacuator Synergy+ wireless site alarm system. When it detects smoke it signals the linked Synergy+ devices, so sounders and strobes elsewhere on site raise the alarm.
The detector itself does not emit any sound. It is designed for indoor use, for example in site offices, welfare cabins, corridors and temporary buildings. The optical head can be swapped for a Synergy+ heat detector head if site conditions change.
