This Hochiki SDP-3 PIPE is a 1500 mm sampling pipe for the SDP-3 duct probe housing. The Hochiki SDP-3 is a duct probe housing that lets a standard Hochiki photoelectric smoke detector, either a conventional detector or an analogue addressable sensor, be mounted on the outside of an air duct to monitor the air inside it. Air in the duct is drawn through a sampling pipe into the housing, where the detector samples it continuously. The pipe attaches to the SDP-3 and is inserted into the duct. The SDP-3 is supplied with a 0.6 m pipe as standard; this 1.5 m pipe is available separately.
