The Honeywell 583496 is an end-of-line (EOL) module for 100 V loudspeaker lines on the VARIODYN D1 voice alarm system. It is connected to the final loudspeaker at the end of the line to give standard-compliant line monitoring when more than 20 loudspeakers are connected, whatever the number and output of the connected loudspeakers.
