The Honeywell FSL100-UVIR is a combined ultraviolet and infrared (UV/IR) flame detector from the FSL100 series. It monitors an area for the invisible UV and IR radiation produced by flames and uses microprocessor signal analysis to decide whether a fire is present, even with sunlight, smoke, dust or vapour in view.
It connects to a conventional fire control panel via end-of-line and alarm resistors, to equipment that accepts relay outputs, or to a PLC with a 0-20 mA input. It is certified for ATEX Zone 2/22 hazardous areas and to EN 54-10.
Key features
- UV/IR sensing with microprocessor signal analysis
- ATEX Zone 2/22 and FM Class 1, 2 & 3 Div. 2 (non-incendive)
