The Li-ion Tamer LT-ACC-ETS-5 is a 5-port unmanaged Ethernet switch for the Li-ion Tamer GEN 3 lithium-ion battery off-gas detection system, which detects the venting of battery electrolyte solvent vapours that occurs early in a lithium-ion cell failure so that mitigation can take place before thermal runaway.
Every Gen 3 system needs either a standard or a PoE Ethernet switch. The standard switch aggregates the Direct Power hubs, relay modules and other devices and connects them to the controller's Network 1 port, carrying TCP/IP signals between system components.
Key features
- 5 x RJ45 10/100 ports
- Unmanaged switch
- Wide 12 to 48 VDC input, normally fed from the Li-ion Tamer 12 VDC power supply
- DIN-rail clips for a standard TS35/7.5 DIN rail; allow 2 cm clearance for cooling
- Screw terminal power input; connect chassis to earth
