The Nittan EV-PY (part no. F14-82120) is an analogue addressable optical smoke detector for Nittan Evolution systems. It is designed as a backward-compatible replacement for the EV-P and works fully with Evolution analogue addressable panels.
It uses Nittan's "PY" smoke sensing chamber. A spherical feature in the chamber improves light scattering, and an orange LED improves response across the fire spectrum. A fine stainless-steel micromesh keeps out dirt, dust and even the smallest insects, helping to prevent false alarms.
