The Nittan EV-PYH (part no. F20-82420) is an analogue addressable optical smoke and heat multisensor for Nittan Evolution fire alarm systems. It is a backward-compatible replacement for the EV-PH and fully compatible with Evolution analogue addressable systems.
It uses Nittan's "PY" smoke chamber, with a spherical feature that improves light scattering and an orange LED that improves response across the fire spectrum. A fine stainless-steel micromesh keeps out dust and even the smallest insects. A Nittan algorithm reads the smoke and heat sensors together and can raise an alarm from either or both, making it less prone to false alarms than single-sensor detectors. The heat element is Category A1R.
