The RMK400AP-IV is an ivory recessed mounting kit for detector bases. It lets you recess a standard 102 mm detector base into a drywall or suspended ceiling so the detector sits lower-profile. It accepts B501AP, B501 and B401 bases; the RMK400AP-IV is for ivory detectors (the RMK400AP is the white version).
