The SENSE-WARE TC-229/4P is a universal hand-held test lamp (SENSE-WARE T-229/4P) for functional testing of UV, IR and UV/IR flame detectors in safe (non-hazardous) areas. It emits energy in the 185-235 nm UV and 4.4 µm IR ranges used by these detectors, and a selectable pulse mode simulates the flicker of a real flame so that IR and UV/IR detectors with flicker-frequency analysis go into alarm after their normal alarm delay.
