The NFXI-FLX-020 is the Notifier version of the Addressable FAAST FLEX dual-channel aspirating smoke detector, which connects to an addressable fire panel loop. Honeywell lists it as the Notifier replacement for the discontinued FAAST LT loop-based dual-channel and double-knock units. Two independent channels allow two areas to be protected or coincident (double-knock) detection.
Key features
- Blue LED and photodiode detection with dual optical path for high sensitivity
- Ultrasonic flow sensor and metallic mesh filter per chamber
- Alarm, General Purpose Output (GPO) and Fault relays per channel
- General Purpose Input for remote Reset, Disable or External Fault
- Configuration by 10-way DIP switch out of the box, or extended modes via the fire panel or SmartConfig Bluetooth app
- Modular design: in-field replaceable sensing module, filter and aspirator
- Onboard event log of up to 2,100 events; USB for log download and firmware upgrade
- Suitable for cold stores with -40 °C operating temperature; IP40
- Approvals: EN 54-20 / ISO 7240-20, VdS, CE, RED
- Double-knock capability for coincident detection
