The Xtralis VSP-1008 is the duct mounting kit for the VSP-980-ST stainless steel sampling point used with the VESDA-E VEA addressable aspirating smoke detection (ASD) system. It lets the stainless steel sampling point be installed in an open duct, so air can be sampled from the duct and returned to the VEA detector through 6 mm microbore tube.
