The XCL-VEA-CO2PP-RA is a VESDA Sensepoint XCL – Micro Bore aspirated gas detector for carbon dioxide (CO2, 5000 ppm) with 4–20 mA output and relays, designed for the VESDA-E VEA addressable aspirating smoke detection system. It provides early warning of gas for occupant protection and system monitoring while the VEA continues to protect against fire.
Key features
- Inserted in-line into the VESDA-E VEA microbore tube network, adding gas detection to a VEA smoke detection system
- Remote sampling up to 100 m, so the detector can be mounted where it is easy to access for diagnostics and servicing
- Factory calibrated detector with integral alarm status LEDs
- Bluetooth 4.0 (BLE) connection to the Sensepoint App for installation, commissioning and maintenance, up to 10 m away
- Two configurable relays plus 4–20 mA analogue output; integrates with PLCs, HVAC, BMS and fire alarm control panels
- Field-replaceable sensor cartridge
