The Zeta Infinity ID2/4 is a 4-zone intelligent 2-wire fire alarm control panel. It gives the benefits of a 2-wire installation (less cable, quicker installation, lower labour and product costs) and can also individually identify ('I.D.') each device. The ID2 is built on Zeta's proven communication protocol and runs Zeta's MKII addressable devices. Detectors, call points, interfaces and sounders all connect to the same circuit.
Because ID2 devices sit on radial circuits, the panel suits new installations, retrofits to conventional systems, and replacement of existing 2-wire systems, often without re-wiring. It can also be wired as a single loop.
Key features
- Designed to EN 54 parts 2 and 4; the system meets BS 5839 parts 1 and 6
- Each device uniquely identified by the panel, with 20-character zone and device descriptions
- Device count verification and alarm verification
- 2048-event history
- All devices on 2-core zone cable, with no separate sounder circuits needed; loop-powered sounders supported
- Detectors available with integrated sandwich sounder
- Cable break protection (loop mode) and short-circuit protection with isolators
- One-man walk test, zone check facility and auto-configuration
- ID2 smartphone app (iOS and Android) to help set device address switches
- Supports a fully functional repeater panel via RS-485
