The Ziton ZP720-3P is a polar white, thermistor-based addressable heat detector for ZP7 addressable fire alarm systems. It responds to changes in ambient temperature, giving a reliable response to fire in areas where conditions rule out smoke detectors.
Sensitivity is set by the ZP control panel and can be adjusted between four levels from 58 to 75°C, either manually or automatically on a timed basis. At sensitivity level two the detector meets EN 54-5 (grade 1).
Key features
- Analogue sensing to reduce false and unwanted alarms
- Addressable, so the panel knows the status and location of every sensor
- Automatic sensitivity, calibration and self-test carried out by the ZP system
- Removal or replacement with an incorrect device is reported as a fault
- Twist-and-lock fitting into ZP bases, with a site-selectable locking option (removal then needs a special tool)
- Red alarm LED on the sensor moulding and a remote indicator output
- Space for address labels on detector and base mouldings
