Emergency Lighting Conversion Kits & Gear Trays

Conversion kits and gear trays let you add an emergency function to a luminaire instead of fitting a separate emergency light. This range lists emergency conversion packs and emergency gear trays from Advanced, BLE and Hispec.

What is in this range

• Luminaire conversion kits: the Advanced CONLED range adds an emergency back-up pack and an addressable unit to a luminaire, either integral to the fitting or in a remote housing. Versions are listed for LED driver only, weatherproof and remote housing installations.
• Gear trays: the BLE Forge circular gear tray (with microwave sensor and step-dim options) and the Hispec Colombia circular and square gear trays with emergency sensor, for building emergency functionality into a fitting.

Choosing a conversion kit or gear tray

Check compatibility with your luminaire or driver before ordering, as well as the mode, rated duration and any addressable or sensor options. A converted luminaire still needs to be installed, tested and documented by a competent person, and the layout should follow your fire risk assessment and BS 5266-1.

If you would rather fit a ready-made emergency luminaire, browse emergency lighting, emergency downlights or emergency bulkhead lights. Brand ranges are available in our Advanced, BLE and Hispec collections. For help matching a part, contact our team.
