The Advanced MXP-635-SM is a single-mode Small Form-factor Pluggable (SFP) fibre optic transceiver for the Advanced MXP-635-A (active) and MXP-635-P (passive) fibre optic converters. It allows network communications up to 20km over 9/125µm single-mode fibre between fibre optic converters on MxPro 5 networks.
The module includes an enhanced Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DDM) interface, compliant with SFF-8472, giving real-time access to its operating parameters: SFP temperature, laser bias current, transmitted and received optical power, and supply voltage.
