The Advanced MXP-650/D is a 2.5A 24V EN 54-4 power supply and battery charger in the deep enclosure, which has space for 2 x 24Ah or 38Ah standby batteries. It can be used with any fire alarm system that needs a 24V supply and specifies EN 54-4 power supplies (for example to the BS 5839 code of practice), and with EN 12101 and AOV systems.
It is a high-efficiency switch-mode unit with intelligent battery charging, mains and battery monitoring and two independent volt-free outputs. Deep discharge protection disconnects the battery if there is a long mains failure, and exterior LEDs give quick status diagnostics.
