The C-TEC BF362 is a barrier interface unit that lets you use intrinsically safe detectors on a C-TEC conventional fire alarm panel. It allows a zone of up to 10 intrinsically safe detectors, plus any number of manual call points, to be used in hazardous environments such as gas plants. It connects to any detector zone circuit on a C-TEC manufactured conventional fire alarm panel.
