The Ceasefire Action-Pac CF-000679 is a 13 litre foam mist fire extinguisher that can be carried as a backpack or used on a trolley, for single-person rapid response to larger fires. It has a red stainless steel body and a dual-mode gun: jet mode delivers a large amount of agent from a distance, and spray mode gives wide coverage and protection from radiant heat close to the fire. The modes are switched with a lever.
Being a stored pressure unit it needs no cartridge activation and no electricity, and the fine mist evaporates quickly, so there is no flooding. It can be used safely around people, which suits high-traffic places such as cinemas and auditoriums; Ceasefire also lists hospitals, warehouses and garment stores among its applications.
