The Eaton EOLM-BW-3 is the intelligent end of line module for BiWire zones on Eaton BiWire Flexi (EFBW2ZFLEXI, EFBW4ZFLEXI, EFBW8ZFLEXI) fire alarm panels. Every zone configured in BiWire mode must be terminated with this module, fitted in the base of the last detector or call point on the zone.
It continually monitors the zone for fault conditions such as detector head removal, open circuit, short circuit and end of line failure, even when the zone is in fire. It can also terminate zones configured in conventional mode on new installations, although the panel then only detects open and short circuit faults, for backward compatibility with the EOLM-1.
