Fike CIE-A-200 / CIE-A-400 Battery Expansion Box (540-0020)

The Fike 540-0020 is the external battery box for the Fike CIE-A-200 and CIE-A-400 addressable fire alarm control panels.

It houses larger standby batteries than the panel back box can hold, extending battery run time during mains failures. It mounts beneath the panel and links to it with the conduit coupling and battery lead harness supplied.

Key features

• Extends standby capacity of CIE-A-200 and CIE-A-400 panels
• Mounts directly beneath the control panel; the panel's bottom knockout is used for the connection
• Conduit bushes, coupling and battery lead harness included
• When fitted, the internal panel batteries and their leads are removed and replaced by the leads supplied with the box
• Not suitable for flush-mounted panels
