The Hochiki CCP-E-IS is a conventional manual call point designed for use in hazardous areas. It is based on the industry-standard KAC World Series housing and takes either a frangible glass element or a non-frangible plastic element.
It is part of Hochiki's intrinsically safe CDX range and must be connected through a Zener barrier or galvanic isolator, such as the Hochiki Z787. Hochiki's wiring guidance allows an unlimited number of intrinsically safe call points per zone, fitted first on the zone.
