The Hochiki FL-PCR is a red pipe clip from the FIRElink range of sampling pipe, fittings and accessories. These are designed specifically for low pressure / high flow rate aspirating smoke detection systems such as Hochiki FIRElink.
FIRElink sampling pipe and fittings are made from red ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene), chosen because it is easy to install and offers excellent rigidity, chemical resistance, impact strength and weather resistance. Hochiki's pipe network guidance says fixings should suit the application; where expansion or contraction is expected, clips should let the pipe move along its axis, and fixing centres should never exceed 1.5 m.
