The Hochiki FL-SG is a grey socket from the FIRElink range of sampling pipe, fittings and accessories. These are designed specifically for low pressure / high flow rate aspirating smoke detection systems such as Hochiki FIRElink.
Hochiki lists grey fittings (FL-SG socket, FL-ECG end cap and FL-ISPAG 25 mm inline sample point adapter) alongside its standard red ABS fittings. Joints in the sampling pipe network should be permanent and airtight, so each joint is cemented with a jointing compound suited to the pipe material.
