The Notifier NFXI-TDIFF-BK is the black version of the Opal NFXI-TDIFF analogue addressable rate-of-rise heat detector with built-in short-circuit isolator. It uses thermistor and microprocessor technology to give an alarm when the temperature rises faster than about 10°C per minute, or when it goes above 58°C (response class A1R). It works on the Notifier Opal advanced digital protocol and fits the B501AP analogue sensor base.
Key features
- Rate-of-rise plus 58°C fixed-temperature detection (class A1R)
- Sensitivity thresholds can be changed from the panel through the Opal protocol
- Built-in short-circuit isolator
- Two tri-colour LEDs (red, green, amber) for 360° status indication, static or blinking
- Rotary decade address switches
- 100% mechanically and electrically backwards compatible
