The IR3-109/1 is a triple infrared (IR3) flame detector from SENSE-WARE, here in a red housing. It detects hydrocarbon fires in Zone 2 hazardous areas and safe areas, using microprocessor analysis of three IR sensors and flame flicker frequency to reject false alarms.
