The Xtralis VESDA-E VEP-A10-P is a four-pipe VESDA-E VEP aspirating smoke detector with a 3.5" display in a plastic enclosure. Built on Flair detection technology, it gives very early warning with strong nuisance alarm rejection across a wide range of applications.
It communicates on VESDAnet and is backward compatible with existing VESDA VLP installations (same mounting footprint, pipe, conduit and connector positions).
Key features
- Flair detection chamber: direct imaging of sampled particles with a CMOS imager plus photodiodes
- Absolute calibration for consistent performance over the detector lifetime
- Four pipes, up to 560 m total branched pipe length and 2,000 m² coverage
- Four alarm levels (Alert, Action, Fire 1, Fire 2) and a wide sensitivity range
- AutoConfig, AutoLearn Smoke and Flow for quick commissioning; supported by ASPIRE and Xtralis VSC
- Smart filter records dust count and remaining filter life
- Event log of up to 20,000 events
- VESDAnet, Ethernet and USB; two programmable GPIs (one monitored)
- Field-replaceable sub-assemblies for faster service
