The Xtralis VESDA VLF-500-00 is a VESDA LaserFOCUS very early warning aspirating smoke detector for small, business-critical areas of up to 500 m². This version has the European language set with English display labels.
It draws air through a sampling pipe network, filters it and uses laser light scattering to detect very small amounts of smoke; status is shown on the detector display and signalled via relays or optional interface cards.
Key features
- Out-of-the-box installation and commissioning, with pre-engineered pipe network designs
- Patented ultrasonic airflow sensing, unaffected by air temperature, pressure or contamination

- Smoke Dial display and Instant Fault Finder behind a field service access door
- AutoLearn Smoke and AutoLearn Flow
- Programmable alarm thresholds (Alert, Action, Fire 1, Fire 2)
- Event log of up to 18,000 events
