The EMS Fusion Radio Loop Module (RLM), part number FCX-532-001, connects to the loop of an XP95 protocol fire control panel and accommodates up to 31 wireless FireCell devices. It converts the wireless data into the wired loop protocol in both directions, so the control panel communicates with the wireless devices much as it would with wired loop devices. It includes a loop short-circuit isolator.
Requiring just 17 mA, up to five Fusion RLMs can be added per loop, subject to cable specification, making it well suited to hybrid systems and buildings where cabling is difficult.
