The Fike TwinflexPro² 8 zone fire alarm control panel (505-0008) is the control panel for the Fike Twinflex intelligent 2-wire fire alarm system. The system uses a conventional cabling format but is classed as analogue non-addressable, and allows detectors and sounders to be connected on the same pair of wires, making it well suited to smaller applications such as shops, offices, schools, nursing homes, B&Bs, museums and restaurants. The 4 and 8 zone panels can also be fitted with the optional conventional zone card to accept conventional devices on zones 5 to 8.
Key features
- Intelligent 2-wire system: detectors, call points and sounders share one 2-core screened cable per zone
- Up to 32 Twinflex devices per zone
- Identifies and displays whether an alarm came from a smoke detector, heat detector or manual call point
- Monitors each zone for detector head removal, device fault, end-of-line fault and open or short circuit
- 4 line x 20 character LCD display
- Checkpoint alarm confirmation to reduce false alarms; operating a call point overrides any delays or confirmation
- Day/night detection mode per zone and 3 enhanced test modes
- 500 event log
- 2 monitored outputs configurable as conventional sounder circuits or 24V monitored relay circuits
- Volt-free common fire and common fault relays
- Two multifunction latching/non-latching inputs and one monitored programmable input (e.g. class change, remote fire)
- Dual-purpose flush or surface housing
- Programmable from the keypad or with TwinflexPro OSP PC software
- LPCB approved
