The HAES ESA-3002 is the network communication card for HAES Esprit addressable fire alarm control panels. It must be fitted before an Esprit panel can be networked to another panel or to a repeater.
The card plugs into the COMMS A socket on the panel's PSU card, with the display ribbon cable reconnected on top, and is added to the configuration with the panel's LEARN procedure. Its RS485 terminals can be wired as a loop or a radial network.

- Compatibility: HAES Esprit addressable control panels (Argus and Apollo versions)
- Communication terminals: COMS A (+ -) and COMS B (+ -), RS485
- Addressing: 0 to 7 for panels, 8 to 15 for repeaters (0 = master panel)
- Panel-to-panel wiring: 2 wires (RS485 data)
- Panel-to-repeater wiring: 4 wires (2 x 28V power, 2 x RS485 data)
- Note: all panels on a network should run the same firmware version
