The Hochiki DFG-60BLKJ is a 60°C fixed temperature waterproof heat detector for conventional fire alarm zones, part of the Hochiki CDX conventional range. It uses a bi-metallic strip to sense temperature, so it draws minimal standby current and is highly reliable. Rated to IP67, it is particularly suited to areas with high condensation or that are hosed down, and it senses reliably whether mounted horizontally or vertically. No mounting base is needed: short flying leads connect directly to the conventional zone and a remote LED.
