The Hochiki FL-RC is an input relay card for the FIRElink-25 and FIRElink-100 aspirating smoke detectors. It adds relay outputs for connecting to other systems, and detector inputs that can be programmed for remote day/night mode changeover, remote reset or ClassiFire override, as well as power supply fault monitoring.
ClassiFire override reduces the normal detector sensitivity by a preset percentage to avoid unwanted alarms from predictable events such as stage effects or open fires in heritage buildings. The card plugs into the APIC interface slot in the detector, so it cannot be used together with an FL-APIC card.
