The Kentec K580 is a stand-alone ancillary PCB for Kentec Sigma CP conventional fire alarm control panels, and can also be added to the RS485 serial bus of Sigma XT+ panels. It provides zonal outputs plus volt-free fire, coincidence and common fault contacts for interfacing with other building systems.
The board connects to the control panel over a two-wire serial data link. Up to seven ancillary boards can be connected to a panel, each given an address from 1 to 7 on a binary-coded DIL switch. The total data cable length from the panel to the last device must not exceed 1200 metres.
