The Kidde KE-DP3021B is an intelligent addressable dual optical/heat multisensor detector from the Kidde Excellence Series, finished in graphite black. It combines forward and backward optical light scatter with heat sensing, with 11 selectable alarm levels, and fits the Excellence Series standard base. It is designed for Kidde Commercial Excellence fire systems and is certified to EN 54-5, EN 54-7 and EN 54-29.
Key features
- Black finish for interiors where a white detector would stand out
- Remote indicator output with short-circuit isolation
- Nuisance alarm, steam and dust discrimination for strong false-alarm immunity
- Static and rate-of-rise temperature detection
- Regular automatic self-testing
- Tri-colour indicators for alarm, pre-alarm, isolation, fault, ItsMe and communications, visible through 360°
- Mechanical rotary switch addressing
- On-board event log for diagnostics
- All sensitivity levels EN 54 certified
