The Nittan EVC-PY-IS (part no. F02-83300) is a conventional intrinsically safe optical smoke detector. It is ATEX approved for use in hazardous areas with potentially explosive gas atmospheres.
It uses the latest generation of Nittan smoke sensing chambers, with enhanced sensitivity to black smoke. It must be installed through a suitable IS barrier and can connect to Nittan addressable systems through the EV-ZMU2 zone monitor.
