Notifier NFXI-TDIFF Opal Heat Detector A1R Rate of Rise and Fixed 58°C c/w Isolator
The Notifier NFXI-TDIFF Opal Heat Detector combines rate of rise detection with fixed temperature detection at 58°C, providing reliable and responsive heat detection for a wide range of applications. Designed as part of the Notifier Opal analogue addressable range, the NFXI-TDIFF uses low mass thermistors and advanced microprocessor technology for fast response and accurate temperature sensing.
The detector activates an alarm when the rate of rise in temperature exceeds 10°C per minute (typical) or when the temperature reaches 58°C (Response Class A1R), offering enhanced protection in environments where rapid temperature changes may occur.
Notifier's Opal protocol enables flexible software configuration across the Opal heat detector range, including:
• Fixed 58°C heat detection (NFXI-TFIX58)
• Fixed 78°C heat detection (NFXI-TFIX78)
• Rate of rise and fixed 58°C detection (NFXI-TDIFF)
For backwards compatibility and approval continuity, each version remains available as a separate part number.
The sensing elements are panel controllable through the Opal protocol, allowing sensitivity thresholds to be adjusted to suit changing environmental conditions. This provides improved flexibility and reduced false alarms.
The detector features built in short circuit isolation and two integral tri colour LEDs providing 360° local visual indication of device status. LED indications include static or flashing red, amber and green.
