The Xtralis VESDA PIP-017-W is a white 25 mm 90° ABS elbow from the VESDA Pipes and Fittings range, supplied in a pack of 10. It is used to build the sampling pipe network of a VESDA aspirating smoke detection (ASD) system, and the 25 mm range is designed to work with all brands of low-pressure ASD systems.
Key features
- Changes the direction of the sampling pipe by 90° and can be used to divert pipework around obstructions
- Where space allows, Xtralis prefers wider-radius bends; elbows are an accepted alternative
- Moulded from ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) under a quality system approved to BS EN ISO 9001
- VESDA pipes and fittings are tested and certified to EN 54-20 and EN 61386-1
- Joined with ABS solvent cement for a fast, one-step, leak-free joint
- Lightweight, impact resistant and resistant to a wide range of acids, alkalis and other aggressive chemicals
