The AirSense Stratos HSSD2 High Sensitivity Smoke Detector (9-30706) is a large-area aspirating smoke detector (ASD) with a sheet steel enclosure, providing very high sensitivity smoke detection for the earliest warning of an incipient fire with a minimum of nuisance alarms. Laser-based forward light scatter gives reliable early warning over areas of up to 2000m² through a combined sampling pipe length of up to 200m.
Volt-free fire and fault relay outputs allow remote monitoring by a local fire detection panel or BMS, and RS485 communications are built in for networking. A Command Module is available for central monitoring and display. It is suited to computer rooms, data storage, equipment racks, plant and motor rooms, air-conditioning units and duct protection, heritage properties, prison cells and other critical areas.
