The AirSense Stratos HSSD2 High Sensitivity Smoke Detector with Command Module (9-30707) is a large-area aspirating smoke detector (ASD) with a sheet steel enclosure, providing very high sensitivity smoke detection for the earliest warning of an incipient fire with a minimum of nuisance alarms. Laser-based forward light scatter gives reliable early warning over areas of up to 2000m² through a combined sampling pipe length of up to 200m.
Volt-free fire and fault relay outputs allow remote monitoring by a local fire detection panel or BMS, and RS485 communications are built in for networking. An integrated Command Module provides central monitoring and display of up to 126 detectors. It is suited to computer rooms, data storage, equipment racks, plant and motor rooms, air-conditioning units and duct protection, heritage properties, prison cells and other critical areas.
