The EMS FireCell Syncro Hardwired Network Card (FC-K555) is the optional, fully fault tolerant RS485 network card for FireCell Syncro AS fire control panels. Fitting a card in each panel allows Syncro AS panels to be linked into a hardwired network of up to 64 panels, or to communicate with a network repeater panel. A network card is also needed for radio networking of up to 16 panels via FireCell Radio Network Communicators (RNCs).
The card fits to the back of the panel's main PCB. Each panel's network address is set on the card's binary DIL switch, after which the panel is auto-configured to store the address. It is not for use with the Syncro AS Lite panel.
