The Fike FIK-IR3-H2-AS11 is a triple IR (IR3) hydrogen flame detector for fast, reliable detection of hydrogen fires in all weather and light conditions.
It handles slow-growing fires as well as sudden eruptions of fire, and its built-in event logger helps investigate the cause and development of fire events. This version has M25 conduit openings.
Key features
- IR3 detection of hydrogen (H2) fires
- Ultra-fast mode detects hydrogen fireballs or explosions within 40 ms
- Detection range up to 30 m
- Data/event logger stores alarms, faults and other events in non-volatile memory
- Automatic and manual built-in test of window cleanliness and overall operation
- Window heater to prevent condensation and icing
- Tilt mounting bracket (ordered separately) fits above or below the detector
