The Hochiki CSBB-E is a conventional platform-type sounder beacon base in an ivory case, designed to complement the CDX range and accept a CDX detector mounted with an appropriate base. It combines a sounder with a high-intensity LED beacon, has very low current consumption and uses DIL switches to set the tone and one of three volume levels. The beacon is a supplementary indicator and is not EN 54-23 compliant.
